1904 Born in Jinju city, Kyung-nam province, Korea on August 4
1920 Entered fine arts department in art school in Kyoto
1925 Participated in Choson Art Exhibition in Korea
Won the prize in the oriental art division with the painting Station
1928 - 32 Taught as professor of oriental painting at Meiro atelier in Tokyo, Japan
1934 Held the first one man exhibition at Ginza Gallery in Tokyo, Japan
1945 Returned to Seoul, Korea
1974 Elected as a member of Bizuseuing of Japan in Tokyo, Japan
1980 Participated in "Korean Nature" exhibition organized by National Museum of Contemporary Art in Toksu Palace in Seoul, Korea
1982 Traveled to India and invited at Indian Art Association Exhibition in New Deli, India
1985 July 18, died of cancer in Seoul at age of 81
